I removed the wheel the brake caliper and the caliper bracket and end axle nut on the left front wheel of my suv. How do I get the brake rotor off now? Do I need a puller or a really big hammer?

The axle nut doesn't have to come off. Use a really big hammer. Sometimes rust build-up on the mating surface causes them to get stuck.
