I have found a diagram and a guide for you to help you get the coolant temperature sensor changed out.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/coolant-temperature-sensor-cts-replacement

Here is what is will be like on your car. (below)

Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Cheers, Ken

Are you talking about the low coolant switch. That is located in the radiator.

Hi,
I bought a used car about two months ago and my check engine light kept coming on. So I took it to Auto Zone and they tested the car to the exact location. It was the engine coolant temperature sensor. My question is how many are there on the car and where they located?

Assumming your engine is 2.2 L:
The coolant level sensor is located on the bottom of the white coolant reservoir tank. This tank is located on the passenger side of the engine compartment, where you add engine coolant.

The engine coolant temperature sensor (ECT) is located on the driver side of the engine next to the thermostat housing.

How many heat sensor does a Chevy Cavalier have? We were told two, but can only locate one. If there are two, where are they located?
