Please tell me HOW to remove the center console.

Please tell me HOW to remove the center console, The shifter will not come out of park, unless I use park release. And we really want to fix this thing without breaking the plastic. I have searched hi and low for the instructions, and all I ever find is "remove the console". I do not want to break it. Please help.

Hi Dean, You will not need to remove the center console. You'll need to replace the Brake Light Switch located just above the break; it's really easy to replace.

I was told that if your brake lights work it is't the brake switch
