2004 Volkswagen Passat HELP

Yesterday was my first time driving the car I brought 2 days ago. Yesterday the epc light came on and today the check engine light is on. After a few minutes my car cut off at the traffic stop. I turned the car off and let it sit, later when I went to drive it there was a noise as if something was screeching on every turn I made. Im afraid to drive can you please tell me what can I do to fix he problem

You'll have to scan the ecm tcm and abs modules for fault codes. Once we know what codes if any you have, we can take a guess as to what is wrong.

You'll need to record the noise and post a video on youtube (free) so that we can hear the noise and take a guess as to what it could be.

Going direct to a vw specialized service garage can save you a bit of a headache.

But there are enough people here to guess what us wrong, once you provide more info.
