When you have an engine problem please list which engine it is. If you have the V-6, that's an interference engine so some of the valves will be bent. That will require a valve job. An engine machine shop that does the repairs should be able to give you a copy of the diagram to set the sprockets correctly before reinstalling the heads. To be safe, set everything correctly, back all the sprockets up a few teeth so no piston is at top dead center, install the heads, then slowly bring each sprocket to its mark by hand and install the belt.

This is an inteference engine and the procedures are rather complex for installation. Hope what I have here is sufficient for you. If you need the complete procedures, give me an email.
