The codes lead to cadilac converters but would changing them fix the problem? Would eliminating convertes compleatly cause me more problems then just replacing them? There pretty expensive cause it a whole assembly

If you know which convertor it is Bank 1, or Bank 2, you could see if they sell an aftermarket universal convertor that an exhaust shop could weld in, that would be cheaper than the y pipe assembly that contains both cats, but the problem with the cheap convertors is that more than likely your check engine light will come on because the 02 sensors pre, post cat will mimic each other because the cheap convertor doesnt perform nearly as well as an factory convertor. You dont want to remove the convertors.
