I am having problems with my truck, 2004 Ford Explorer, Eddie Bauer Edition, 4.6 liter engine V8, check engine light is on and it idles up very high at times, causing it to jerk off very fast and my air will not get cold unless you are on the gas. I took my truck to Autozone and they said the IAC is not even on the truck but the diagnostic is reading IAC, could you please show me where it is located?

Clean throttle plate on both sides with choke cleaner then clean maf. Yours doesn' t have an iac. Then look for brokein grommets or ones with holes in them also check for vacuum leaks.

Thank you hmac300, I had been racking my brain for days wondering where this part was, and now I guess my husband won't have to hear my mouth much longer. Thank you much!
