I swear when I bought this two weeks ago the fan speeds worked. Now it only works on high. Does not have fancy climate controls.

The resistor is the most common failure on these so you will have to replace it or to test see if the resistor gets power then go to blower. You will find that it is probably the problem. Buy name brand replacement parts.

Found resistor in engine compartment behind passenger shock tower was difficult getting out was rusted out got a new 1 and easy install no screws just push it in place clips in. The plug was corroded but I used old resistor and some WD and grease to work it in and out till it was clean enough to use again.

The blow only works on two speeds none and high. When set to any of the setting s in between, nothing comes out.

When set to high it does heat.

I only have high fan speed on the a/c. Where do I locate the speed regulator so that I can replace it?

Speed regulator?

You mean the blower motor resistor right?

Should be right behind the glove box. Look for wires going to a little rectangle shaped panel with bolts/screws in it

The fan works on high only. It will not blow air on low, medium, etc. Only on full blast high. It's been this way since I bought it used 7 months ago. Also, the air conditioner never worked, the heater does bu t not the a/c. I don't know where to start on the a/c issue. The headliner needs to be replaced, what is a reasonable price to pay for that? The wiper motor was replaced 4 months ago and wipers are brand new but they start and stop on their own will, what should I check/replace? The wipers make a horrible noise when they are functioning, not like the wipers rubbing the glass more like the motor grinding away. It's so loud! Help please!

Ok one problem at a time ok. First the wipers sounds like you have a bad wiper motor, I would have that warrantied and replace it. Now on the blower motor speeds that sounds like the blower motor resistor is not good with a digital multi meter we can check that. As for the A/C we will get to that as soon as the other is fixed ok so don't let me forget, I want to have you jump a switch when we get to that to see if it is the compressor or not but that will come at a later date first things first. Let me know about the meter so we can check the blower motor resistor ok.
