2004 Chevrolet Silverado Heater Issue

I was watching and reading some of the videos and comments on youtube. They are very helpful but before I start taking anything apart I would appreciate an opinion on my issue. The passenger side controls where air comes from and the driver side controls temperature but my issue is that it is blowing hot for about ten seconds then fades back to cold. The ac works fine, the heat is the issue. I put the thermostat to cold and back to hot and it goes hot again for a few seconds then fades away. I appreciate any help!

Suspect a bad blend air door actuator.

Do you have a dual climate system? If so and only one side is affected, it will be the same side on the control panel. For example, the left control will be the left blend door.

It is dual but it has been blowing cold both sides pretty much.
