engine management light

engine management light came on and car was losing power, it used to go off after a couple of hours. But now the light is continuously on and the car has lost all power. there is a whistling sound from the engine and and the car has now began to smoke, Please help!

It sounds like the car is in limp mode because of a sensor or mechanical failure. Lets run the codes to see what the problem is.

I had this problem I had to replace the camshaft angle sensor. :)
