Hello,

One of the common reason for an engine to overheat is a stuck closed thermostat.
If the thermostat has failed in the closed position, then the coolant will be unable to circulate thru the engine. Causing it to overheat.
Typically, with a closed thermostat the upper and lower radiator hose will have different temperature. You will have one hot and the other will be noticeably cool.
