It could be a speed sensor we would have to first have the computer scanned for codes. It might need a professional scan tool to scan all the computers. You can first have the auto parts store scan for codes and see what come ups. Please give me exact code numbers not code descriptions?

DTS scan? Are you using a scan tool that can read all the computers in your car? There is no replace this fix first thing is making sure there is no code in the computers that will lead to a trouble tree.

Which model do you have that scanned brakes? Also I said start with the auto parts scan tool and you might need a professional scan to read all the computers. Can you read live data like vechile speed? That would really narrow things to know the speed sensor was giving readings too the computer. What's bad for diyers is the newer cars need advanced Nprofessional scan tools to work on them a lot of the times. Not diyer scan tools they sell or use at the auto parts stores.

Sorry about the brake scan errow, it scanned the r. Hub sensor. On another vehicle. At this point I hooked it up to check speed and the speedometer started to work, went on test drive unplugged scanner and speed odemeter stopped working again. Did this twice speedo. Worked fine with scan tool hooked up. Beats me. In real time every thing shows good on scanner.

It sounds like a ground issue since it works with the scan tool plugged in. What size engine do you have?

Do you mean a 3.0L engine? So you have a code you can't read?In history or current code?I am trying to find the wire diagram to try to figure out where the problem is.

Sorry about that, s. Tec is 3.0. When I scanned last it read pid detected but will not respond to scanner. This is basic, as to response from scan tool. Does not read mfg. Code.
