2003 Mercury Sable parked months now wont start

A friend has a 2003 Mercury Sable and it was parked for approximatly 7 months, it was running when parked and moved around because of parking maybe three times. It was started so the battery would not run down. I tried to move it because of the parking, as I did not want a parking ticket and now it wont run. It is so strange, it was running when I parked it and now the engine wont turn over and turn on. It is not the battery as it is new and I had it checked. Any ideas as to what it could be. Thank you ahead of time for your time and attention to this question.

So are the battery cables clean and tight?Also do the dash lights come on when you turn the key on?Do you have a multimeter?

I do this as a hobby, I started while laid up for about 7 months, broke foot with many complications, 1st time I ever pecked on a computer (over 2 yrs. ago). I never signed up for $$$, I just get satisfaction "Reading the Smiles on their faces", when we do good!

You know the Jeep CJs really have few problems, compared to most of the other vehicles.....sorta leaves me sitting around like the Maytag man.

Didn't mean to butt in, just trying to stir something up....Then sit back and watch,.........as I too, will be alerted by Email!...I hate it when I get no 2carfeller mail.

Maybe this Gal doesn't realize, that you will continue to answer her questions, explain what to do, sorta holding her hand thru the whole deal, teaching her how to do stuff, giving her options, expediting her repair, and saving her $$$$$$---UNTIL SHE DRIVES IT AWAY!........no matter how long it takes?????????????
