Computer shows one malfunction and that is ESP failure?

The computer shows one malfunction and that is ESP failure. And the RPM goes up and down between 1000 and 2000 automatically. And the gas pedal don't work. Although the car starts but the computer shows the above mentioned problem. How that problem can be settled. It also happened a day before but an expert told me to remove the cable from the battery for some minute and after the problem got settled. But when I parked the car stopped the engine the same problem again occurred and now its not resetting.

The RPM going up and down most likely is not related to the ESP code that you are getting. So, we need to start with searching for this issue and not worry about the code. Also, because when you cleared the code and the issue happened again, the code did not reset.
