Transfer case stuck

My sorento when you start it the 4wd lights come on and will not go off and it will not change pass 3rd gear whats wrong?Put on computer and it said trans. Malfuntion

Who scanned it for you? If it was an auto parts store, they don't have the scanner needed to identify these problems. You need to take it to the dealer or a trans mechanic that has the proper test equipment to check for specific trans codes.

Also, does this vehicle have a 100K mile powertrain warranty?

Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
2003 Kia Sorento Two Wheel Drive Automatic 75,000 miles

The bearing in the rear drive shaft of my sorento has gone bad. I have found a rear drive shaft for a 4X4 2003 kia sorento. Will this work in my 2WD sorento?

The driveshaft doesn't have a bearing. The differential does as well as the transmission. Which are you refering to? Also, I strongly recommend staying with direct fit parts. No matter what, there always seems to be problems when you interchange parts like this. Most likely it will be different. You could call a parts store and see if the part number is the same between the two different vehicles. If they are the same, it should work.
