My car won't start they tell me I need a crank Shaft sensor. I have a 2003 Kia Sodona EX. Where is the crank Shaft sensor located and could you tell me how to replace it?

It pays 2.5 hours and is located under the timing cover down by the harmonic balancer. If you have never done this, I do not recommend trying it as you may get in over your head real quick. Very labor intensive job. Better left to an experienced shop.

I just had mine replaced and you need to have a professional do it. Also if you have not had your timing belt replaced lately go ahead and have that done as it's all in the same area, you are going to just pay a bit more for the belts.
