Why is my 2003 Ford Taurus engine reving when the AC compressor Kicks on?

When the heater is running the enging revs the the compressor clicks.

When the compressor kicks in -the computer should raise the RPM to compensate for the additional engine/electrical load seems to me its not happening/might want to check for an AC-idle up solenoid

Have the charging system checked to rule out a failing alternator if the alternator is not producing the correct output voltages the engine management system will not function properly-
