Hello my truck calls for 5w-20 and I want to run mobil 1 5w-30 because of the high heat in s.C I know synthetic is thinner than regular oil but is this to thick for a super charged engine thanks.

Synthetic oil is way better than regular mineral oil. You may see your heat reduce because of using it. Jus tmore exspensive. It is normal to use just a little when first putting synthetic in a motor.
