I have lost my dash indicators for fuel gage, temperature gage and my a/c does not blow cold, however when I replace this fuse it continues to blow out. What else could be a contributing factor for this?

9 times out of 10 it is the compressor clutch. If that diode in the diagram is faulty and the relay energizes, the voltage goes straight to ground, not good. A wiring circuit problem, somewhere?

Having the same problem, I’ve tried just avoiding the AC but tried utilizing the defrost feature and ended up with the same problem today. I even have the loss of the same indications as the problem above

Hello again.

First thing I would suggest is to perform a CAN scan. I will check all the systems on your car including the A/C system. Here is a tutorial showing what is involved for performing a can scan:

After receiving any stored code information get back to us with the code numbers and we can then properly diagnose. Hope this helps and thanks again for using 2carPros.

Hello again.

Just to add to this post sometimes when the A/C compressor clutch has failed and or is locked up-frozen it could cause the fuse to blow out for electrical protection from the issue at hand with the frozen clutch. I've attached picture steps below on how to remove and replace the A/C compressor clutch on your car. Hope this helps and thanks again for using 2CarPros.
