What do I do for a 2003 4X4 Chevrolet Avalanche 1500 shows a DTC p300

I need to fix this it shows the check engine light when I go over railroad tracks and at times when I idle.

Engine misfire detected. Check the plugs. Make sure they're properly installed. Make sure the plug wires are properly connected. Check the connectors and grounds for the coil(s).
