2005 Chevy Avalanche TRANSFER CASE INDICATOR LIGHTS?

For some time now, when I start my vehicle my indicator lights will come on in various areas. Sometimes it will start in low 4 or sometimes it will start in 4 high or auto 4 wheel or 2 wheel or even no light at all. Is this electrical or transmission trouble?

You need to have the programming for the transfer case control module updated. If the problem comes back, replace the module.

This is common when the transfer case selector switch goes out, I had this problem with my chevy truck. Here is how to change it out to help fix the problem. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
