Acceleration Issue

My Saturn L200 is starting very roughly. Though, it idles at normal RPM. When I give it a bit of gas, The engine will delay for almost a full second, and sounds like it is about to stall, before responding.

So do you have any codes?If you haven't checked yet go to a auto parts store like auto zone and have them scan your car for codes. If you have any codes let me know what the exact numbers are. Also does it ever not shift until you let off the gas?
