I have a 2002 Aztec that is AWD and I would like to know if I could just replace it with a normal fwd transmission?

We only recommend direct fit parts. On today's cars, when you change one thing, several others are affected.

I don't recommend it. That changes computers, vacuum harnesses, wiring harnesses... Will it work? Anything is possible, but you need to be prepared for headaches.
