Code P0455

The car turns over but won't crank. We put a OGD reader on it and got the code P0455 and so we replaced the gas cap and now we are cleaning the EVAP canister vent control valve. What else do you think we need to do. Thank You very much.

A P0455 isnt a bad gas cap see if the canister purge solenoid is stuck open. With canister purge solenoid unplugged see if you can blow thru it?

Where is the canister purge solenoid located on the car. Is there anyway you can check this out or do you just have to replace it and hope it will run then. We took off the part that the the sticker under the hood of the car showed was the purge solenoid. But you can not blow through it. What is the next step or what else do I need to do.
