2002 Mitsubishi Montero fluid leaking onto ground

I heard a chirping noise while driving. When I turned off the air conditioner it seemed to disappear. I now see a fluid leaking from the front passenger side onto the ground. Only seems to leak in the heat of the day. The driveway was dry this morning. The airconditioner seems to be working fine and the car is not overheating.

Your drive belt might be slipping with the air on. What kin of fluid is leaking?

Sound could be coming from a weak belt tensioner.

1. With the engine off, locate the belt tension, underhood.
2. Start the engine and turn on the a/c.
3. Observe the tensioner to see if it is shaking/vibratiing rapidly [with the squeak seeming to follow it rythm].
4. When you turn the a/c off does the vibrations of the tension decrease?
