I have a gmc savana 2500 series 5.7L van and have no power getting to the distributor. I have changed the crank sensor and have changed the distributor and it still wont start. What could be the cause or causes of this problem and how do I fix it or them?

Did you visually check for spark at the spark plugs? You can pull a spark plug wire loose, use a spark tester in the plug boot, ground the tester to metal part of engine. Adjust the gap on the spark tester. Have helper crank it while you watch the spark to jump the gap on the tester, check more than one.

Does the rotor turn when you crank it? If everything ok with spark, check fuel pressure.

Just to add, if no spark, check primary voltage at the coil with key on, pink wire, that is a fuse protected circuit. Ecm1 fuse--20 amp, underhood fuse box, goes hot with the key on.
