The location of the PCM is in the engine bay at the firewall on the passenger's side. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

I can't find the PCM. The Ford diagrams list it as module C175, and place it in the Engine compartment, rear, RH side. But the sketch is too vague for me to identify it. Is it attached to the right side of the engine? Or is it attached to the back side of the dash board. Where is the rear, RH side of the engine compartment? It is relative to standing in front of the car looking at the engine? Or from the driver seat?

4 or 5 trans codes displaying and car has been running fine for a year, however it will not pass inspection unless it gets fixed. Thinking about replacing ECM. Anybody know how difficult it would be?

Check battery for condition then check fluid level may be low and causing codes. weak batteries send false codes among other things.

If he wants that much it 's probably in need of a rebuild check around at different shops and it's probably in the ball park.
