2002 Ford Mustang mileage: 60,000. My daughter’s boyfriend has recently bought this car. He has had the oil changed three times in a row before recommended, oil change. And the oil is constantly dirty only after a couple hundred miles?

Failing to maintain necessary oil changes, results in excess sludge developing in the engine. When the oil change is finally done, the new oil starts to pick up the sludge that was deposited in the engine.
