2002 Ford Focus Won't shift into high gear

I have a 2002 focus zts the car won't shift into high gear and is running high rpms. What could the issue be?

Does this car have an overdrive cancel switch somewhere, like on the gear shift lever? Check to make sure it is not on. Check fluid level, and if all those look ok then you may want to take to a pro with a scan tool if you do not have one.
