How do you change the overhead console on my truck. I thought that it screwed in but it appears to have several expandable clips. How do I release the clips

Now I see what you are dealing with. The prongs are designed to catch the base when downward pressure is applied. The only thing you can do with these is gently pry them out. There isn't a way to access and release them.

I hope I do not break the plastic. If it does break, there is no way to secure the console. Thanks
