My SUV is the XLT model. So, I put in an aftermarket Pioneer stereo a few years ago using the proper wiring kit and my stereo worked perfect up until about two weeks ago. The stereo still turns on but there is now no sound through my speakers. I thought maybe he IC chip in the Pioneer unit went out as my subs still had sound. So I went out and bought another stereo and the problem is not the radio but something else within the truck. Has anyone had this issue? Is there a factory amp in this truck?

This depends on the type of system that you have in the vehicle, but I assume you do not have rear sear controls, so I am including the wiring diagrams on this.

Either way there is not an amp which means we need to check the output of the radio to the speakers.

I suspect the issue is the connector that came with the radio is either not wired correctly or we are not getting proper power to radio to power the audio circuits.

Please see the wiring diagrams below and let us know what you find with this, and we can take the next steps.

Thanks
