2002 Chevrolet Silverado engine help

My engine it turns over it cranks for about one second and just dies back out what could be my problem

Starter, starter solenoid, battery, battery negative cable, positive cable, starter relay, neutral safety switch, ignition switch, generator, voltage regulator, or a wire or connector terminal in any one of those circuits. All depends on the exact symptoms.
