ABS Issue

ABS activates on dry pavement usually after making sharp left turn. Sometimes ABS and Trac lights will come on. I want to deactivate the ABS by pulling fuse. There is on big fuse in box under hood and one small fuse in dash fuse panel. Does it matter which one I pull? Will pulling fuse deactivate other functions; brake lights etc? After pulling fuse the red brake warning light is displayed along with ABS and Trac lights; is this an issue. All I want to do is disable the troublesome ABS.

This problem happens when the wheel bearing hub goes out. Here is a guide to help you see what you are in for when doing the job.

Please let us know what happens.

I would just pull the fuse labeled abs it will not take out the brake lights etc. But if the traction light is on after you lost the traction control as well. The traction control shares the wheel speed sensors with the abs.I will look up the fuses as soon as I get home where my computer is. Sorry I did not address all your questions with my first posted reply.
