I have a 2001 Bravada.
When starting it cranks then starts to runs for about 10 seconds, all lights and battery fail lights are off but then shuts down.
This happens each time. Acts like there's a shut down signal of some kind.
No codes when checked.
Your help would be appreciated

Check for codes and check your fuel pressure. If you haven't changed your fuel filter in a while change that.

There was not any codes.
I replaced the filter but it does not even stsrt for 10 seconds now.
Sprayed strating fluid and it started and ran good.
But after shutting down could not start it unless we sprayed it with stsrting fluid.
Could it be a fuel pump?
I beleave it in the tank, if so how do I access it.
Thank You;
Bob

In the previous answer I asked you to check the fuel pressure. If you can't do this a pro can. The pump is in the fueltank and the fuel tank must be dropped in order to take the fuel pump out. It can be around $600-800 for a replacement pump plus labor. You might find them cheaper but it is replacedas a unit.

Do to medical reasons I had to stop T/S my Problem. But things are alot better now.
I changed my fuel filter with no help.
The fuel pressure is 46psi with just the switch on and engine not running.
I have 2001 4.3 engine.
I beleave I have a CMFI system.
Is 46 psi OK or is there something elese in the system.
Thanks;
Bob

Fuel pressure on your vehicle must be btween 60-66p.S.I. So only haveing 46 is not enough. There more than likely lies yor problem.
