2001 Holden Astra engine

Try to fill the water up but just runs staight out of the back or side of engine, is there a water hose down there that has broke or would it be coming out of the engine was running ok till I put the f an on when stopping water was runnig out now wont hold any water at all

It could be a few things. As Raz mentioned, it could be a freeze plug, hose, or even a head gasket. You need to get a closer look to see what it may be.
