How many miles can you get out of a 4.3 vortec. With all the right maintance. Is it possible to get 300,000 miles out of it?

You may, but like anything mechanical there is the chance of a problem, you just cant tell, but with correct maintenance and careful driving habits, you give your self the best chance to maximise the engine life.
