Truck runs/idles rough. We have a small diagnostic machine (CanOBD2 Diagnostic tool)that gives us the following information: Cylinder 2 misfire P0302. We were told Cyliner 2 is the front passenger side cylinder. I have so far replaced the spark plug, spark plug wire. This fixed nothing, still runs rough, same misfire codes. So then I took #4 coil (I think) and put it on number 2 cylinder and put Cyl. 2 coil on number 4 to see if that would change the code to #4 misfiring. It did not. What can I try next?

Is the misfire always apparent? Are you getting power to the coil for that cylinder? If the misfire didn't change when you switched the coil, the problem lies before the coil. Have you checked wiring?
