I have a 2001 gmc sierra 1500, I was welding on the exhaust brackets with the ground of the welder on the tip. I accidently touched the frame and messed up something electrical in my truck. The cruise doesnt work, the turn signals are acting weird and my abs lights on and my odometer randomly turns on and off. When I hit the brakes my turn signals wont work. And when I turn on a turnsignal the other one luminates just barely aswell. Please tell me some reasons that could cause this

Did you take the battery cables loose when you were welding? At the exterior lamps, check voltage and GROUNDS. Note diagram below, if ground/s look burned or melted, replace wire. Check all bulbs and wiring.

Your computer doesn't have anything to do with the lamps we were talking about.

To check for ground, you can use a testlite connected to battery voltage, touch the ground wire terminal, if the lite comes on, the ground is good.
