Car will not stay started

When I start my ford expedition, the gauges flip all the way to the right then to normal position. The car will start but quickly will stop unless I have my foot on the gas pedal.

Do you have a check engine light?

Check and test the idle air control valve, EGR valve and test the throttle position sensor and clean the MAF sensor with an electronic cleaner CRC-start here
