Engine won't start

Hi! My brother has a 2001 dodge ram 4500 cargo van that would not start after sitting for a few hours. It cranks and there is a gas smell, but wont start. Any ideas?

Not getting spark? Injectors leaking and making it too rich to start? Try holding pedal to floor? Akso could have a leaking fuel pressure regulator. This causes/lets extra gas into intake.
