The other night I drove my truck to walmart, and it ran fine. I've never had problems with it. When I came back out, it wouldn't start. I tried getting a jump, but that wasn't the problem. I thought that it was the starter, but after replacing the starter i'm still in the same spot. I checked all the connections. I am in the military and don't have much time to work on my vehicle, so an answer would be awesome.

When I first came out from wal-mart I could hear the starter clicking. Now I turn it on and all the lights and every thing come on like it's going to start but when I turn the key nothing happens at all now

Have you checked the battery terminals to make sure they are clean and tight? Also, have a helper turn the key to the start position while you check for voltage to the smaller wire on the starter. There should be 12+ volts. Let me know what you find.

The battery terminals were one of the first things I checked. I have good voltage.

If the voltage is good to the starter in the start position, then the starter has to be bad.

I was wondering if it could be anything with the clutch safety switch.

Yes, it could be the clutch switch, but that wouldn't cause the battery to click. I still feel there is a connection problem. If the battery is good, you need to check for power to the starter. If there is no power going to the solenoid, then it could be a relay, ignition switch.
