2001 Dodge Caravan WONT START

Turn the key on and everything lights up. But when you turn the key it wont start. Tried to shorting the starter out and it will turn over but will not start. It also read done on the dash and a code came up saying e code e 100.6. Please can you help me?

It's a communication fault so check connections and fuses. Check items in pic as well as try resetting security system.

Right now, I'm afraid your security system may have a problem? Use an obd2 code reader to check for applicable codes, see if anything pops up related to security system? Either buy or borrow an obd2 code reader. Even then, I may only be able to help with basics, voltage and ground for the system. Over the internet, I can't do in-depth diagnosis on this system.

There could be other issues, but, rule out the security system first.

Usually after a bit, the starter circuit will no longer crank and no fuel injector pulse, if security system.

Make sure battery has a full charge.
