My car is idled too high

I changed rack pinion on my 2001 Chrysler Concorde and now my car is idle to high. I checked all my air lines and plugs to make sure they are hooked up. Also I noticed my left side pipe coming from the exhaust manifold is turning red. I changed out my throttle body

Have itchecked for a clogged conerter.

The pipe being red is really concerning me

None of these other problems was happening before I changed my rack and pinion.

Take to get the exhaust checked
