2001 Chevrolet Impala cooling fans not coming on

The ac has a leak but a cooling fan should come on

A/C not working, this causes less heat with it not working. Coolant fans come on at a certain heat level. If temp guage goes over a little more than 210 degrees they should come on. If living in a cold climate than fans might not come on at all. Your heater would be pulling all the heat.

There are two wires that go to the fans, check the fuse for the fan, should be under the hood on the left side of engine. Look inside the cover and they usually tell what fuse and relay what is for the fans
