2001 Chevrolet Astro stalling

2001 chevy astro has intermittent stalling. If I go out in the morning and start it it runs fine but then I park and come back turn it on it stalls constent until I give it gas then I have to continue to give gas or it stalls. But it doesn't do it all the time. Change plugs wires cap rotor and had throttle body cleaned.

Is there any smoke out of the tailpipe when it restarts or just before it stalls? Is it a 4.3 liter? Any check engine light on?
