What does it do when it won't start, does it crank and not start, or not crank? Is the voltage being read on the info center, and how are you getting it to 14 volts, by a charger?

That is normal, and indicates the charging system is operating. What you need to determine is if a signal is being sent to the starter. There is a connector at the rear bank side by the power steering pump. The harness comes from the body, and the engine side goes down under the intake. The large purple wire is the starter signal. Check the body side when it won't crank. If there is a signal there when the key is in crank, you need a starter. If there is no signal, then further diagnosis needs to be performed to determine if it is due to theft system, or electrical. The starter signal test can be performed easiest with a 12 volt test lamp to ground.
