I have a 2001 Kia Sportage 4wd, it has been running fine. I filled up at valero about 8 hours ago and have driven about 22 miles. I noticed the check engine light flashing. I tightened the gas cap and drove about 2 miles and nothing. It is still flashing and driving a little rough.

Have the computer scanned for code/s-you have a problem within the engine management system that caused the CEL to turn on-This is your starting point of diagnosis,finding out what's going on.
