I drive a 2000 V70x AWD Volvo stationwagon. I had the brakes repaired a month ago. In the last few days the brake, ABS and flashing arrow warning lights are turning on in my dashboard. What might the problem be?

Hello, I'm Danny.

If the malfunction indicator lights are on for your car then I would suggest performing a CAN scan- Controller Area Network scan. This type of scan covers all systems on your car and can show any and all fault codes for your vehicle like the brakes and anti-lock brake systems you mentioned. Here is a tutorial showing how to perform a CAN scan:

After performing this test then get back to us with any information or fault codes with the braking systems on your Volvo and we can then properly diagnose any issues you are having on your vehicle. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
