Car died is it the alternator?

Battery light indicator came on short time later the car died replaced battery car resumed operation but battery light stayed on arrived at destination after several hours restarted car no problem no indicator light two days later abs light came on and car died again

The alternator is not charging and you need to get it checked.

Just to add to this one do you have a multimeter?If so see what the voltage is at the battery cables. Let me know what you find because there is one more test before I tell you to replace the alternator.
