I drove my car from Florida to Georgia the next day I drove it like 5 miles from my house cut it off then it wouldn't start up. It started backfiring and still wouldn't start so I was told to change the can position sensor so I did but its still backfiring. What would cause this and how to fix it!

Fuel pressure is good and the only thing that showed up on the diagnostic machine was can shaft position sensor which was changed
